GEAR UP Tutor    -- Part Time (Up to 19 hours a week)

Tutors will provide outreach services to student to include; providing individual tutoring, academic advising and mentoring. With the direction of the site manager will provide and coordinate activities on a variety of educational topics including; career planning, college admissions, student financial aid, field trips to post-secondary institutions and to educational and cultural events, service learning activities, involvement of parent and/or other family sponsors; portfolio program in the extended day program and in the regular school curriculum including electronic portfolio development.
